About the Judge
Carolyn Letvin, a resident of Marlboro, has exhibited in the New England area since 1990. She is an accomplished landscape and interior painter, and also creates stylized sheep imagery. Her many regional and national awards include the Top Award at the 18th Annual Faber Birren National Color Award, a second place in the 2014 Blanche Ames National Juried Exhibition, and both the Nancy T. Baldwin Drawing Award (2017), and a Juror’s Award (2025) from Concord Art Members Juried 2 Exhibition. She demos and teaches her plein air printmaking technique using oil paint and the GC Palm Press which she has manufactured and sells. She also teaches gyotaku fish printing, mindful enso circles and litho pencil monotypes in workshop formats. Currently, her work can be seen at Galatea Fine Art in Boston, Hudson Art & Framing in Hudson, and Lauren Clark Fine Art in Great Barrington.
