Our Mission

Needham Art Association is dedicated to promoting art and art education through support, artistic development and enrichment. The Association is proud of our yearly Scholarship Award to a deserving Needham High School senior who intends to pursue art education at college.

As a community-minded association, we welcome any and all new members who produce art in various mediums. Our diverse membership includes professional artists, recreational artists, teachers, students, and art enthusiasts. NAA provides many opportunities for members to display their work. We sponsor judged exhibits in the fall and spring, and a non-judged winter exhibit at Gorse Mill Gallery. Members also have the opportunity to display paintings at the Center at the Heights (CATH), and can create a portfolio of their art on the NAA website.

We host program demonstrations each month from October through April. Meetings are held in the Community Room at the Needham Free Public Library except for a Zoom lecture in January and our joint program with Wellesley Society of Artists in April. All are welcome to attend. For more specific information about our programs, visit the NAA Programs page.
