I capture a moment in time! I do this with impressions of a children’s hands & feet clay which I turn into a piece that will be enjoyed and treasured forever. I also create keepsake dishes and ornaments commemorating a special moment such as an engagement, wedding, birth, baptism, bat mitzvah or graduation just to name a few. I personally hand make all of my custom ceramics in my Needham studio. My pieces are fully customizable with personalization, fun designs & bright colors. I start with a 25lb bag of creamy white earthenware clay and each piece is formed in my hand. For personalized pieces I stamp each individual letter and number thus making this a labor of love. Using stamps also allows me to be able to create pieces with logos, custom designs to match wedding invitations and more. Each item is then fired in the kiln to almost 2,000 degrees. I then glaze each one by hand with food safe glazes before going back into the kiln for a 2nd firing. With my text and designs pressed into the clay and durable glazes my pieces can be enjoyed daily and cherished forever.
