
Community members are invited to join Needham Art Association for an art supply swap!
This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other artists and share resources.

Acceptable Items
Please bring only clean, functional, and reusable arts and crafts materials such as:

- Paints: Acrylic, watercolor, oil paints, and inks with lids securely closed and at least half full
- Drawing Materials: Pencils, charcoal, pastels, markers, various types of paper, sketchbooks, and blank canvases
- Paper, Substrates, and Frames: Various types of paper, sketchbooks, blank canvases and wooden panels, empty frames suitable for exhibiting artwork (8×8 or larger)
- Textiles & Needles: Yarn, thread, fabric (larger than a fat quarter), sewing needles, knitting needles, and crochet hooks
- Tools & Crafting Materials: Crafting tools like scissors and glue, beads, jewelry-making supplies, clay, sculpting tools, stamps, and stencils

Unacceptable Items
To maintain quality and safety, please do NOT bring the following items:

- Hazardous Materials: Oil-based solvents, house paint, aerosols, or anything toxic or combustible
- Damaged Goods: Items that are moldy, dirty, rusty, broken, or in need of repair
- Non-Craft Items: Office supplies (binders, file organizers) or general household items (clothing, linens, appliances)
- Scraps: Very small scraps of fabric (less than a fat quarter) or mostly empty tubes/cans of paint

Swap Day Rules

- No Money Exchanged. This is a free event to share supplies.
- Bring a Bag to carry your new goodies home.
- Take Only What You Need. Please take only supplies that you will actually use, and split/share with other participants when possible.
- Respect & Courtesy. Participants are expected to be considerate of others during the swap.
