Since 1984, Needham Art Association (NAA) has awarded an art scholarship to a talented Needham high school senior who intends to pursue art/art courses in college.
Application information for the Scholarship Award will be posted in spring of 2025.
2024 Scholarship Recipient
Rian Sullivan, a Needham High School senior, has been selected as the 2024 recipient of Needham Art Association’s Scholarship Award of $1,500.
In her artwork, Rian represents the people and places that have impacted her emotionally and shaped her as a person. She enjoys the challenge of trying new mediums, but her favorite is colored pencils, which allows her to express depth and emotion in her work. Next year, Rian will attend Bard College where she plans to major in Biology and Environmental Science while also continuing to study art.
