While our themed exhibit “Shared Light” is on view at Gorse Mill this month, we will be hosting a series of member-led demos in the gallery. We hope you can join us for these more informal and intimate gatherings where our members will share aspects of their artistic practice. These demos are all free and open to the public.

Ever wonder what the process of wet felting looks like? Fiber artist Irina Moroz gives us a behind-the-scenes look at just that. Wool, silk, viscose, soapy water, and agitation are the main components of the wet-felting process.
Polymer Mosaics with Audrey Markoff Dunn

Come be a mosaic artist! Audrey will demonstrate her unique process making polymer clay tiles to create mosaics. Everyone will make their own small mosaic to take home using these handmade tiles.
Making Zines with Gail Hansen

Gail will demonstrate simple and fun “zines,” small one-page folded “magazines.” Zines are great for telling stories in art. She will teach participants how to design and fold them. All materials included.
