Exhibit at CATH

Needham Art Association is fortunate to have exclusive access to the display space available at the Center at the Heights (CATH). Every two months, a new group of NAA artists can showcase their work in this space that is open to and actively used by the Needham community. The recently expanded hanging system accommodates between 20 and 30 paintings.

More information can be found below, and you can reach out to NAA’s Coordinator, Nancy Present-Van Broekhoven with any questions.

Hanging Areas

There are five hanging areas at CATH:

      • 1st Floor (4 wires)
      • 2nd Floor – Curved Wall (6 wires)
      • 2nd Floor – Bench area (4 wires)
      • 2nd Floor – Office area (4 wires)
      • 2nd Floor – Elevator & Patio area (4 wires)

The number of paintings that each area can accommodate will depend on the size of your painting:

      • One hanging wire can accommodate one medium size painting or two small ones (stacked)

      • Larger paintings should use TWO wires

Labels

      • Artists should label their work with price and contact information, and are asked to use the NAA label template. If you need help making labels, please contact Nancy Present-Van Broekhoven. No commission will be charged on the sale of any art.

Download label template (Microsoft Word)

      • Please attach your label to the back of the frame, showing info about the painting in the front. Do not attach the labels to the wall.

Hanging your work

      • Safety first – Artists are asked to hang their work themselves, BUT if you do not feel confident hanging your artwork by yourself, or using a ladder (available on request), PLEASE arrange for help with Nancy Present-Van Broekhoven.
      • Drop off & Pick Up – You will receive an email with information regarding drop-off and pick-up times, which will be during CATH’s regular hours of operation.
